BAYRES HORNS, a traditional Horn Quartet whose aim is to spread Argentinian and Latin American music, was formed by Fernando Chiappero, Luis Ariel Martino, Gustavo Ibacache and Christian Morabito. All are members of the orchestra of the Colon Theatre of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
From the beginning, 2017, BAYRES HORNS has been presenting in concerts and important festivals such as 49th IHS International Symposium (International Horn Society) in Natal (Brazil),
V Encontro Brasileiro de Trompistas where it was the premiere of Variaciones Concertantes for four horns and orchestra by the brazilian composer Arthur Barbosa with the Unisinos Symphonic Orchestra of Porto Alegre (Brazil). BAYRES HORNS has been participating in the Festival and International World Tango Championship – TANGOBA 2018 (Argentina); in Concerts Seasons in the SODRE (Montevideo, Uruguay) and in the Concert Season of Argentinian Performers in the Colon Theatre (Argentina).
In 2018, BAYRES HORNS presented its first album BAYRES HORNS – CONCERTANGO, dedicated to Tango with works of Gardel, Mores, Plaza, Troilo and Piazzolla. It also includes the original work from the Argentinian composer Gabriel Senanes, especially dedicated to Bayres Horns.
In 2019, BAYRES HORNS made their first European tour: Spain – Italy, where they played in concerts in Barcelona, Valencia and participated in the ITALIAN BRASS WEEK Festival da Firenze (Italia).
Nowadays, BAYRES HORNS is recording their second album dedicated to Astor Piazzolla music; it is a new fusion and a new sound that is going to be presented during the year 2020.
BAYRES HORNS es un cuarteto tradicional de cornos que tiene como objetivo difundir nuestra música argentina y latinoamericana. Está integrado por Fernando Chiappero, Luis Ariel Martino, Gustavo Ibacache y Christian Morabito, todos miembros de las orquestas del Teatro Colon de Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Desde sus comienzos, en 2017, BAYRES HORNS se ha presentado en numerosos conciertos e importantes Festivales tales como: 49th IHS International Symposium (International Horn Society) en Natal (Brasil), V Encontro Brasileiro de Trompistas, donde realiza el estreno mundial de Variaciones Concertantes para cuatro cornos y Orquesta del compositor brasilero Arthur Barbosa junto a la Orquesta Sinfónica Unisinos de Porto Alegre (Brasil); participa además en el Festival y Mundial Internacional de Tango – TANGOBA 2018 (Argentina); Temporada de Conciertos en el SODRE (Montevideo, Uruguay) y del Ciclo Interpretes Argentinos en el Teatro Colon (Argentina).
En 2018 presenta su primer álbum BAYRES HORNS – CONCERTANGO, un disco dedicado al Tango con obras de Gardel, Mores, Plaza, Troilo y Piazzolla, entre otros, adaptadas especialmente para esta formación, incluye además la obra original del compositor argentino Gabriel Senanes dedicada especialmente a Bayres Horns.
En 2019 BAYRES HORNS realiza su primera Gira Europea: España – Italia, donde realiza numerosos conciertos en Barcelona, Valencia y participa en el ITALIAN BRASS WEEK Festival da Firenze (Italia).
Actualmente BAYRES HORNS se encuentra grabando su segundo disco dedicado íntegramente a la música de Astor Piazzolla en una nueva fusión y un nuevo sonido que será presentado durante el año 2020.
